Bespoke Jewellery Pricing

Factors That Influence Our Pricing

Because of the nature of bespoke design, it’s almost impossible to give an estimate for what a piece might cost. However, with your help to provide exact details on what will be required for a design, we can give you an accurate quote based on the factors below. Our portfolio pages do show ballpark pricing that may give you a rough idea if you have something similar in mind.

  • Precious Metal Prices

We work in palladium, platinum, white gold (9ct, 14ct, 18ct), rose gold (9ct, 14ct, 18ct), yellow gold (9ct, 14ct, 18ct, 22ct) and silver. Our prices depend on the cost of the required weight of metal at the current market value, which fluctuates constantly. We only buy the materials we need as and when we need them. For this reason, our quotes are valid for 7 days, after which we may need to re-quote you.

  • Gem Quality + Size

The price of gemstones can vary hugely depending on their quality and size. We take pride in the quality of our jewellery, so prefer to use higher quality gems*. However, there can still be a huge difference in price between a good quality stone and a very top quality stone. During the design process, you’ll be able to handpick your gemstone from a curated selection that will vary in quality and price, to suit your personal style and budget.

*If you have heirloom stones of lower quality but with sentimental value, we are always very happy to use them provided they are suitable for the design. We’d just need to take a little look at them to assess this.

  • Manufacturing + Hallmarking

Our bespoke jewellery pieces are produced using a combination of modern manufacturing methods and traditional goldsmithing techniques. We use computer aided design, 3D printing and investment casting, which allows us to create detailed pieces that would be very difficult to achieve if done entirely by hand, and in a much shorter time frame! Every item is hallmarked before being finished by hand. The cost of the 3D printing and hallmarking is the same for every piece we make. Where our pricing differs is in the amount of metal required for casting and how much hand finishing there is to do.

  • Design Complexity + Expertise

Our pricing will depend on how many hours we need to put into each stage of the bespoke process to get your design just right. The complexity of the design will influence how long the CAD model will take to create, and how much hand finishing, engraving, detailing and stone setting there is to do. An item of bespoke jewellery will take around 8 to 12 weeks to complete, but behind all of that is years of training, practise, studying and qualifications in order to hone our craft and become experts in our field.

  • Packaging + Delivery

When you commission a piece of bespoke jewellery, you’re paying for a luxury experience, which includes unboxing your jewellery and seeing it in reality for the very first time. We use high quality, branded packaging to make sure you get the very best out of your bespoke jewellery experience. Every piece we create is presented in a gloss white wooden box with a leather interior, placed inside a protective outer box, secured with a beautiful bow and popped into one of our iconic orange gift bags. Not only does it look and a feel luxurious, but it keeps your bespoke jewellery completely safe and protected. If you opt to have your jewellery delivered, then we will securely wrap all that into a box and post it to you next day guaranteed by 1pm. This way it is fully insured, tracked and signed-for. The cost of postage will depend on the size and number of items being posted.
